Collaborative Rural Areas

There has been a new kind of Civil Rights Movement starting in Pennsylvania that is liberating local communities from corporate control through corporate use of federal laws.

A Pennsylvania judge declared that there is nothing in the state constitution to suggest that corporations are “Persons.”  Judge Debbie O’Dell-Seneca of the Washington County Court of Common Pleas denied a request by Range Resources – one of the largest gas extraction corporations in the state - on the basis that the Pennsylvania Constitution only protects the rights of people, and not business entities.

The ruling affirms what many of us in communities already know that we need to openly question and challenge legal doctrines that have been treated as sacred by most lawyers and judges if we are to maintain our civil rights.

Starting a County Project

We have formed a County Project. This starts at the community level
and should be spread throughout each county.
A Community Project
offers something for everyone ...

Each has a general idea and a general direction.
IF our economy falters or stops completely,
we will all be ahead of the problems coming...

Quote from Thomas Jefferson:

“The way to have good and safe government
is not to trust it all to one, but to divide it among
the many
, distributing to every one exactly
the functions he is competent to.

Let the national government be entrusted
with the defense of the nation, and its foreign
and federal relations; the State governments
with the civil rights, law, police, and administration
of what concerns the State generally;
the counties with the local concerns of the counties,
and each ward direct the interests within itself.

It is by dividing and subdividing these republics from
the great national one down through all its subordinations,
until it ends in the administration of every man’s farm by himself;
by placing under every one what his own eye may superintend,
that all will be done for the best.
